It's not too late to start seminary. Seminary is a great opportunity to study the Gospel with other youth. There are three different classes this year: two in person and one online.
You can register for Seminary at https://myseminary.churchofjesuschrist.org/
Contact your ward leaders for more information.

Stake Youth Council meets monthly and is made up of youth representatives from each ward or branch of the stake and stake leaders. They counsel together to plan and organize stake youth activities and events and minister to youth in their units.
Strengthen the rising generation’s faith in Jesus Christ. Children, youth, and their families set personal goals in four categories: spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual.

The youth of the Stockton and Lodi stakes will be combining this year from July 15th to July 20th. The YM from both stakes are tentatively planning on attending at Rucker Lake and the YW from both stakes will be attending at Camp Ritchie.
Camp registration is open and will close on February 4th.
This summer, youth will be able to attend FSY. The Stake is looking at focusing on the week of June 17th so our youth can attend together, but youth can sign up any time.
Preregistration is now open.
For more information check out the FSY website.

Church activities and classes are opportunities for children and youth to feel the love of the Savior and the influence of the Holy Ghost. While participating, children and youth need to feel safe and protected. Leaders and teachers should follow the Savior’s example of love and concern for children.
This training covers how to recognize and prevent physical, sexual, verbal, and other types of abuse. The resources below can also help you recognize and prevent abuse. The training provides scenarios to help you better understand and apply key principles and policies.
All adults serving with children or youth for more than 32 hours a year need to go through the Live Scan process. Live Scan is an automated service for criminal history background checks that involves completing a form and being fingerprinted (please note you will need a personal identification card like a drivers license or California I.D card). You will need to complete the form and go to any of the Live Scan providers (https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/locations).
Some of the providers offer appointments. You will need to pay for Live Scan service (typically $15.00-40.00), but the church will reimburse you for the expense. Keep your receipt and turn it into your organization president. If you have any questions you can review the Member Information Sheet or contact a member of your Bishopric.
When children and youth are involved in an event or activity involving special considerations (see Handbook 2: Administering the Church, 13.6.20, ChurchofJesusChrist.org), an overnight stay, travel outside the local area, or an activity with higher than ordinary risks a permission slip should be completed. Below is an interactive version leaders can use when planning these types of events.
