The Lord has declared, “It is my purpose to provide for my saints” (D&C 104:15). He will provide temporal blessings and open the door of self-reliance, which is the ability for us to provide the necessities of life for ourselves and our family members.

PERSONAL FINANCES:  For those who want better control over their finances. You will learn how to eliminate debt, protect against financial hardships, and invest in the future. The group will explore various tools for making sound financial decisions, create a financial plan, and follow a budget. 

EMPLOYMENT/FIND A BETTER JOB:  For those looking for work or a better job. Classes and support groups will learn to identify opportunities, network, present themselves professionally, and prepare for job interviews. They will also set goals for contacts and interviews. 

EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE:  This group was designed for those interested in managing or overcoming stress, anxiety, sadness, depression, etc. Focus is given to healthy thinking patterns and building emotional resilience. You will also learn how to build healthy relationships. 

EDUCATION FOR BETTER WORK:  For those who need additional education or training to get a job, classes and support groups will research, create and present career and education plans and spend time each week practicing skills that will help them be more effective learners. 

STARTING & GROWING MY BUSINESS:  You will learn to make wise business decisions as you start or grow a business. It will help you determine the viability of a new business, identify potential customers and decide the best way to approach them. Other proven concepts related to budgeting, managing costs, inventories, accounting and other key business practices will also be considered. 

HAPPY AT HOME:   This group was designed for those hoping to improve the happiness and peace in their home and achieve the promises in the scriptures and those given by modern prophets regarding happiness at home.  The courses will focus on spiritual and temporal aspects of positive loving relationships. 

 Leaders, members, and friends interested in participating in a class or support group may, using the link below, register for yourself or, with permission of the individual, register on their behalf.  A stake self-reliance specialist will reach out to assist coordinating the My Path for Self-Reliance class or support group.
